Having a set of Chromebooks for the classroom will allow for different structures of learning throughout the day. One important aspect of preparing students for this 21st Century life is access to technology. Unfortunately, in a low-income school district (with over 80% of students eligible for the Free/Reduced Lunch program) not all students have this chance. My goal is to put technology in the hands of students who may not have the chance to unless they are at school. Technology can help engage students with interactive lessons that will prepare them for an increasingly digital workforce. To be able to have 3 computers available in our classroom at all times would increase our ability to: research, word process, complete creative writing activities or group projects, accommodate diverse learning needs, and much more!
