Kids are naturally movers. When they enter a classroom it is difficult for many of them to be still and stay seated. Though I try to incorporate a great deal of movement and activity into our daily routine, there are times when students must stay seated. Bouncy Bands allow students to keep attention and stay more on task by engaging their whole bodies in the learning process. A band is attached to each students chair where they can rest and bounce their feet as often as needed. Students are able to move in a way that is not distracting to their neighbors but still allows them to get their wiggles out while seated in their chairs.
