My school is located in Aldine ISD and some families possessions were recently damaged due to Hurricane Harvey. My school is recognized as a Title One school, which means that most of the students I service come from low socioeconomic families. I teach 2nd grade Spanish Language Arts (SLA) and we want offer to the students the best way to learn Reading and Writing, and the best education possible. My classroom currently works with Lucy Calkings method Teachers College Reading and Writing Project (TCRWP).
