One area my students struggle with is organization. Having the these organization tools will help keep our classroom organized and free of clutter to allow students more time focusing in class rather than having to search for their materials every day at the beginning of the class period. With these structures in place, students will have a clear, designated area where their notebooks will be stored without the year (crates) as well as any loose-leaf paper assignments that are to be picked up or turned in (mobile organizers). These organization tools will give my students practice in accountability for their own materials while taking responsibility for their own classroom. By being able to practice these life skills within the safe confines of the classroom, students will continue to build on their organization skills in preparation for high school and beyond.
