My students work hard to learn content in both English and Spanish. They set goals for independent reading in both languages. However, while English reading material is abundant, students often struggle to find engaging literature and nonfiction text in Spanish. These sets will give students more choice for their independent reading. These sets also come from a range of reading levels and will allow students to select appropriate text at their independent reading levels. This addition to our classroom library will help students grow as readers and thinkers! Bilingualism and biliteracy are becoming increasingly important in our global society and these books will help students reach their goals.

About my class
