Chromebooks will help engage students with more online resources. They will also be able to have interactive lessons. My students need Chromebooks to help create authentic learning experiences in the classroom, as well as build 21st century skills that they need in order to be successful in an evolving technological world. Technology in the classroom can help close the achievement gap between students!! The Chromebooks will help a student at ANY level, "high performing" or "at-risk." We are a bilingual school with many students at the poverty level. Many of our students do not have access to technology at home. Therefore, all my students are eager to learn and engage with technology in the classroom. The students will use these Chromebooks to collaborate with one another. The students will be able to share work with partners, small groups, and the whole class. Please help bring Chromebooks to our second grade classroom!
