New nonfiction leveled books will help my diverse group of students with many skills. We will use these books in small group and focus on nonfiction text features and other skills that will greatly benefit my students. Nonfiction text are often hard to find on first grade levels and these books will help prepare my students for second grade. These leveled readers will connect many subjects since they are science and social studies based. This will make learning fun and exciting for my little hardworking first graders. Working with the inclusion class has shown me that students learn in many different ways and by receiving these books, my students will be able to learn on their independent reading levels.
