These basic but essential supplies will help my students to stay focused, engaged and excited about our drama activities. They will especially support students who need extra transparency and structure to understand expectations and follow directions. For example, the chime bell will help students to focus in on the speaker, and the timer will help them to know how long they are expected to spend on an activity so they can organize their time effectively. These materials will support positive communication and interpersonal interactions in the classroom -- social emotional skills which will help them make great theater together. Their voices are strong and need to be heard, and these materials will help them to feel safe and supported in the classroom.
