I'm requesting a variety of snacks including Planters Trail Mix, KIND bars, Healthy Snacks, and Sunshine Cheez-It Crackers to help my students stay focused for the day. These materials will make a difference in my students' lives because it will show them a power of a healthy snack. It will show them someone cared so much about their wellness that money was donated for them to help them succeed in life. We talk about goals in my class and my goal is giving every student the opportunity to succeed. Me selflessly giving up my time to write grants or obtain snacks for them is my giving them a better chance to be successful. My goal is to take a hand, open a mind, and touch a heart each day I teach. Whatever it takes my role is to provide food, clothing, or a sense of purpose for these kids then I know I am doing my job.
