Unfortunately, our district has needed to cap each classroom's printing jobs this year due to financial constraints. This means that many of my lessons are projected to the front of the room and the students need to respond to the lesson in their composition notebooks. It's a challenging task for second grade students, especially those who are already performing at low levels. A classroom printer will remove these limitations and provide my students learning opportunities that I cannot currently give to them. We are also in need of copy paper. Our district will not be getting another shipment until mid-January and what we have received needs to last until then.
