The Osmo and Marbotic accessories for our iPad will be used by the kids to learn about and explore letters, numbers, art, coding, and dramatic play. The camera and accessories will be used to help document the learning and exploring that is happening. Not only will they be utilizing technology in varied and appropriate ways, but these programs will also encourage social interaction and development, which is a crucial part of preschool learning. They will work together to solve problems and learn new skills through the Osmo Genius kit, add-on kits, and the Marbotic letters and numbers kits. Some students have little to no experience with iPads and related technology and this will help prepare them for the technology they will see and use in the future.
