Having more graphing calculators will allow for us to enhance instruction and possibly allow students to borrow calculators to help with homework. This extends past the classroom and even allows students to see math in the real world. These calculators will graph lines and even show students where lines intersect which is a large part of the eighth grade curriculum. There are many different functions of these calculators, so the students will learn them more if they have more time to practice. If we can get more then it will be easier for the students to get hands on experience. Having the opportunity to learn hands on the students grasp concepts on a much larger scale.
