We are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for our 4th & 5th graders. We are encouraging them to read a novel to kick off the school year. The book we have chosen is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. We have been given permission to take ALL 4th & 5th graders who read Wonder AND pass the AR Quiz to see the movie premiere on November 17th. Students will be responsible for reading the book at home. We encourage you to read along with them. It’s always fun to read a book together! I am confident all of Crestwood will be a buzz about this amazing book. It will also give you the opportunity to talk with your child about kindness and celebrating one another’s unique qualities. The premise of the book is bullying and kindness is promoted throughout. The impact this could have on our school culture is both exciting and motivating!
