The TI-83 graphing calculators will be used to graph and calculate math problems in my Algebra class. They will help my students to learn the math concepts with clarity. They will help students to refine their problem solving skills and to apply these skills to real world application. The calculator will give the students the same opportunity to compete with other students across the district and help them to gain valuable knowledge that is needed in the Algebra classes. Most important, the students will be able to use the graphing calculator to show multiple ways of representing mathematical problems, such as: graphing, equations, and tables. Thus, giving students the confidence and motivational factor that is needed when solving complex math problems.
