We are looking to purchase a 3d printer, a multi-color filament dispenser, and single tablet that is capable of running the designing program. The products they create will be available to the public. We are looking to make items that are customized with our school logo, such as cases for phones, Chromebooks, IPads, and other tablets. Being that we are a small school in a small town, these items give our students the ability to develop and create items that they normally would not have access to. This would make their creations a rare item, and something the community would be able to come to them for. This will help my students manage our projects, and obtain skills in marketing, engineering, budgeting, and managing resources. While the types of items may seem limited in the beginning, the actually opportunity to achieve job site experience is vast and beneficial to them.
