My students need four Kindle Fire Tablets with security cases,to introduce technology into the classroom. This will take us beyond the four walls of our classroom into a world that relies heavily on technology. Most of my first graders do not have technology at home. My school recently found an online resource, called Exact Path, that can look at my students' state test scores and create engaging, individualized reading and math lessons that meet the needs of every single student differently. Out of 20 students in my class, only two are at a first grade level in reading and math. Giving the students an opportunity to use this program, as a center, would greatly increase their test scores and knowledge of content being taught in class. The Kindles would be greatly loved and utilized everyday. Just this simple technology can help my students tremendously.
