My students are mostly Juniors and Seniors and they are taking Intermediate Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Precalculus, and AP Calculus AB. I teach in an urban school district in California, and many of my students come from very low-income households. My school has a business and technology focus, so many of my students are interested in pursuing these fields. Mathematics is clearly an important subject to help them realize their goals. My students inspire me every day with their hard work and intelligence.
