My students need four Chromebooks to provide support for struggling readers and writers. My students have great stories to tell. It is less of a struggle to orally tell these stories. When they are asked to take the next step to put pen to paper they become hesitate and you can literally see their creative juices being stifled. Having four Chromebooks as part of my writing corner will greatly improve the willingness of my students to share their experiences and respond to text in Google classroom. This option will increase student engagement and less anxiety knowing that they will have the teacher or peer support as an editor while they write. They will have real time feedback to take their piece of writing from good to great. Beginners can use the speech to text feature working independently.
