My students have difficulty gasping concepts by just learning from just a textbook. Math, reading, and writing is a very tough concept for some students but to bring a new perspective to a tough subject makes the students less discouraged and willing to not give up on themselves. When they work with manipulatives and they start understanding a concept, the look on their faces is worth it all. The moment I see a concept clicking into place, we celebrate their achievement. They know when they enter my classroom, everyone one of them is special and each one has something to offer our classroom family.

About my class
