With these two computers, my students will be able to engage in research for in-class projects and will be able to build standardized test taking skills, as standardized testing is completed online. Currently, I have two desktop computers in my room with Windows 7, but they are several years old and as a result, students are restricted in terms of the ease of online navigation. I also have two Chromebooks in my room but I have 26 students! Since there are only four computers in my classroom, all students are not able to obtain access on the same day. My students truly love technology! By using these computers for research and assessment skills building, my students will be motivated to utilize technology in engaging ways. These computers will allow them to use their prior skills to develop into confident, eager learners.
