Our newly remodeled fitness room has been a heavily visited area in only 2 weeks of the new school year. Students involved in Physical Education as well as Special Education students needed to release energy and frustration have found this to be a new home away from home. Having larger dumbbells will not only improve physical strength but will also add exertion to those students needing a release when things are not going well for them. We as a school community would like to continue to grow our fitness room as a display of how physical fitness can contribute to overall student wellness. We are very excited to start our intramural programs, as well as prepare our athletes for transition to high school, offering them the best chance of success that they could ever have.
