For our first unit, my 7th graders are reading an informational text titled Written in Bone. The text is based on the original Jamestown colonists and the discovery of James Fort. As 7th graders, students need to be able to conduct research. This will help ensure that they are prepared for 8th grade and high school. These Chromebooks will aid my students in further research and allow them to recreate the historic layout of Jamestown. Not only will my students become researchers, they will also become historians as they replicate the original Jamestown. Chromebooks would allow all of my students to broaden their learning using ELA, Science, History, and arts.
