Without a variety of furniture in the classroom, students are expected to sit in their chair for the majority of the time. While we do a lot of cooperative group work and moving around in our classroom, we often need to be seated to work together effectively. These stools will give my students a break from sitting in a regular desk and chair, and allow us to move around the room and work in different areas. Flexible seating gives students the option to choose where they would like to get their work done, and we all like being given a choice!
