Often times we find that students are ill prepared to enter the work force or college because secondary schools have been unable to give them the experiences they need to be successful. Throughout all lessons taught in my classroom, I hope to engage children in their interests while simultaneously giving them the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an educational setting as well as a career. In my room we explore different ideas and viewpoints, learn how to solve problems, dig deep into the our world and our community, and practice skills such as technology use, public speaking, and working collaboratively.

About my class
