I am requesting several different Osmo kits to be used alongside the iPads we have at our school. My students only receive thirty minutes of exposure to technology a week despite the technology standards under Common Core. With the Osmo system I will be able to use classroom time during workshop rotations to set up a technology table. Students will have access to an iPad and these fantastic games that focus not only on using technology to learn but also specific skill sets related to letters and numbers and even coding. In our world today, a student who is exposed and shown how technology can truly help facilitate the learning process stands a great chance at success in our technology based world!
