My students' science notebooks are intended to be their all-access guide when it comes time to studying for biology unit exams and for the Biology EOC exam at the end of year. In almost every class period, there are usually a couple of study sheets, diagrams, tables/ charts that need to be attached in their notebooks. Therefore, in order to ensure all of my students are able to keep their notebooks organized, glue, tape, staplers and paper trimmers are needed. In addition, my students enjoy learning biology when they're able to express their understanding in creative and innovative ways. Chart paper, liquid chalk markers and colored paper would help my students to work in group settings and create large expressions of scientific understanding. Lastly, to reward my students for their diligence, passion and hard work, I'd like to present them with raffle prizes of neon bouncing balls, sunglasses and sweet treats!
