My class consists of 9 special education pre-k students. We are a unique and diverse group consisting of developmentally delayed and autistic 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Currently 5 students are non-verbal and 4 students are verbal with mild communication delays. In our classroom, we enjoy new activities that we can participate in to enhance our social/emotional, fine/gross motor, and coginitive skills. Learning through play is what we love! Currently, the sand table that I have in my classroom is not appropriate for my little pre-k students and I would like to switch and have a table to fit their needs for sensory play! This table would be extremely beneficial for alot of our classroom students. To my future donors and supporters thanks in advance and let's get my pre-kindergarten students reading and sitting in comfort each day!
