In September, all our students will be welcomed into the first dedicated space for music education in the school's history! After over a year of learning music via Zoom, this dedicated Music Room will provide students with the exciting opportunity to continue learning about diverse cultures in a room filled with instruments, joy, and authentic music-making experiences. Comfy and flexible seating will allow my students to make the choices that work best for them and their needs as growing musicians. The products that I have selected will help my students in grades K-8 by giving them seating options that grow with them and allow them to make more effective learning choices. The comfy floor seats and pillows will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options, especially for middle grade students playing small instruments. These floor seats and pillows are lightweight, simple to clean and easily stored when we need the floor space for larger instruments and dancing. With your help, we can create a culturally and linguistically engaging Music Room that allows students to feel safe, be their whole selves, and make music together!
