As an educator, I want to provide an area in my classroom where students are comfortable and engaged while reading independently. My students are provided with whole group instruction, then rotate through three rotations, including computers, small group, and independent reading. The materials I have requested will be used in our independent reading rotation. Students will have the opportunity to move the rugs, floats, and pillows in our independent reading area to find a relaxing and comfortable place to read their book. It is my hope that my students will associate books with positive emotions. By donating to our project, you can help in creating a love for reading in each of my students.
