My students need the Cricut in order for them to have lasting learning materials and a classroom bonding experience. I teach fifth grade in a Title 1 school, therefore my school's population is very diverse; all of the children in my classroom have different backgrounds and life experiences. Our classroom materials are scarce and limited and the students at times feel out of place. One of the experiences I would like to provide my students in my classroom is a sense of community. My students will be able to make their own classroom t-shirts in order for them to feel a sense of ownership and value. They will be using every material to be able to enhance their work of art and make them fell special. The different vinyl colors will give them a sense of ownership and they will feel unique in doing this.
