I have a nice lab area, but our school starts early and my students are very busy from the time they get up until the time they go to bed. I have my students work together in groups of four or five on different labs and projects. My lab area is the best place to do that, but it is not always the best learning environment if they have to stand up the whole hour while trying to think and come up with different ideas on how to do different things. I think if a stool will help them get over being tired for a bit, so they can focus and think then a stool it shall be!
