As the school librarian, I get a chance to work with all the students at my school. Whether it's the kindergartner's first time in a library, or a 5th grader getting the next book in their favorite fiction series, I love to see the excitement in students' eyes when they come in. I make every effort to make the library a central part of the school community, encouraging students to come in on their free time to get more one-on-one reader's advisory, or to feed a kid's reading frenzy. In classes we get to delve into stories, and learn skills in using various technology. I want to foster curiosity and life-long learners in the library!
