Ours is a small public school with roughly 300 kids ranging from kindergarten through 5th grade. The music classroom provides students an opportunity to learn about music reading and performance. Currently, we have only 11 baritone ukuleles in our music program. The class size ranges from 18-25 students, with three separate classes for a total of 60 fifth graders. We would love to have individual baritone ukuleles for each student. This will allow students to learn during class without sharing, and also have the opportunity to perform as an entire class not just allow the top students to play. We have Veterans Day shows, Holiday Shows, perform for the local military base and talent shows. Helping students with instruments provides them an opportunity to participate with their fellow classmates and make learning fun and engaging for all! Help us explore the world of instrumental music with strings!
