My school has approximately 500 students K-5, and I teach art to nearly all of them in the course of a week! We are a Title 1 school and many of our students receive free or reduced price meals - both breakfast and lunch. My students are bright, eager and excited to learn! They all grow intellectually when they learn about art and artists and experience the joy and wonder of creating their own unique artwork.
