The donations to this project will supply materials, including canvases, paint tubs, paint brushes, a paint palette for mixing colors, and colored pencils for my students to experience hands-on Art lessons. The book, Just Mercy, will help them learn about social justice issues and how they can affect a community. It will be used as part of a book study to examine some of these issues in our virtual literature circle. This will make a huge impact on my students being able to have a more well rounded hands-on educational experience while we are in our period of virtual learning.
