My students are hardly ever comfortable during our Reading time due to having to sit on the cold, hard floor. This rug will allow my students to sit comfortably during Reading and learn to the best of their abilities. It is my goal to make my classroom feel safe and like home to help ease the anxiety of their first year of school. This will help open up new opportunities for our classroom as far as whole and small group activities. My students will be able to move more freely and do things away from their tables that they don't get to do now.
