Small group instruction and collaboration is an essential part of everyday in our classroom. Small group instruction allows me to work with my students in a more personal way to ensure everyone's needs are being met. Collaborative space allows for students to work together, to create new ideas and help each other grow. We need whiteboard tables; tables were students can meet together with me will give us an opportunity to work more effectively every day. The white board aspect of this table will allow students to work out math problems, write responses to questions, jot down ideas, and share thoughts with each other. I will quickly be able to see what the students are learning, and be able to intervene as needed. Currently we have bulky 1 person desks that can not be easily moved around the room. We have nowhere to meet for a small lesson or for students to work together. These two tables will transform our classroom and will truly progress the achievement of each student!
