These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by saving time worrying about broken pencils. The manual sharpener we have does not effectively sharpen pencils. This causes daily frustration and precious minutes wasted throughout our busy days. Something so simple truly makes all the difference in helping students manage their daily stress. In measuring student success, it is critical to identify what students know and do not know, so teachers can fill in gaps and enhance student learning. In our tight classroom quarters, the students lack privacy during testing. We have tried alternatives such as standing folders or binders, but often run into them falling down and causing distractions. The sturdy shields will provide them a safe, private space so their individual work can truly shine.
