My students are my heroes; they inspire me to be the best I can be every single day that they walk into our classroom. I have even dubbed our classroom "The LOG"-The Land of Geniuses. Although I probably have shoes older than them, their inquisitive minds and thirst for knowledge challenge me in ways that leave me awestruck. Even though they spend a required ten hours in school each day, they create an energy in The Log that makes hours seem like minutes. One would not guess that many of them live in poverty, and have little or no access to the wonderful resources they have at school.
