North Star Academy is a public magnet school for gifted children. Middle school students are bright and, like all children, incredibly capable. I challenge the students to achieve their full potential by immersing them in biology. I capture them by delivering exciting and stimulating lectures and labs. And, I teach them learning skills by asking them to think and work. In the end, students rise to the challenge, feel proud of their achievements and often end up quite passionate about biology.

About my class
