My students will be engaging in outdoor learning in the woodlands near our school. We plan to be outdoors in all types of weather- wind or rain, snow or sunshine. We will be exploring many types of terrain including streams, bogs and ponds and tramping through the mud. Every student needs to have warm, dry feet not only for comfort, but also for safety. Students will also be able to focus more on their investigations and access more terrain if they are not worrying about wet feet. Their natural inquisitiveness will not be hampered by concerns about ruining their shoes.

About my class
