Students with moderate disabilities often need sensory items to focus or take a brain break. Providing these in my classroom will make the students more comfortable and better able to learn. The students can also use the sensory items as they travel around the building to their specials and lunch/recess. I love to see my students engage with technology! Even the smallest students can use an iPad to practice fine motor skills. The more technology available in my room means more one on one time with a device to learn at an individual pace. The Teach Me app is a favorite of the students and I love how I can track their progress.
