This frog dissection will serve as the culminating activity for my students' human body unit. We will use the dissection of the requested frogs to compare our knowledge of the human body system to a frog's body system. Students need every opportunity to participate in authentic, hands-on learning, especially those living in poverty that may not have the opportunity to experience these kinds of activities outside of school. This inquiry-based activity will give the students a chance to experience life science firsthand by working collaboratively to learn about anatomy. This is a truly wonderful group of students that would benefit greatly by this opportunity. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
