My students struggle with attention and socialization. In my classroom, students participate in targeted, direct instruction in small groups. This is how their reading, math, language arts, and social skills instruction takes place. Most of the time there are multiple lessons happening simultaneously. Clear learning spaces, activity areas, transition spaces are a very important part of our learning environment. The horse shoe table that I am requesting will support my students by allowing them to focus more easily, delineate between learning and transition areas, and socialize more effectively! We are excited for the school year and can't wait to have lots of fun!
