Mount Gilead Middle School is in a small community in central Ohio. With 56% of our students living in poverty, I strive to provide my students with as many learning possibilities as I can. Some of the best teaching moments are when my students have hands on learning. Our "up-cycled" greenhouse has provided many of these "teachable" moments. My goal is to expand our outdoor learning space to allow for more hands on learning.
