The students at our school are intelligent and hardworking. The majority of the students have not been exposed to Spanish except for the occasional trip to the local Mexican restaurant. Through the exposure that they obtain in Spanish class, not only are they learning reading strategies, but also other learning skills and higher order thinking skills that help them to broaden their perspective of the diverse world around them. Spanish is a crucial course in promoting college and career readiness, and the students work hard to meet the language proficiency goals that will prepare them to use the language in their future career.

About my class
