The hands-on resources for my students will not only increase their academic development, but will inspire them to become life long learners. The hands-on resources will allow my students to adapt twenty-first century life skills. The link between twenty-first century life skills and education is far greater than paper and pencil. Learning through collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking focuses on our everyday changing community. Giving our students ample opportunities to learn with hands-on resources allows for optimal college and career ready success. Phonics, reading, and writing centers will allow my students to explore and deepen foundational skills of the twenty-first century. My students will be able to review, and master essential skills as they grow through out the school year with hands-on learning. Readers theater, counting, and sorting will help motivate and engage my students acrosss the spectrum.
