The document camera would be used every day in my fourth, fifth, and sixth grade math classes to help my students learn! We would be able to do sample problems and worksheets together and go over any questions that may arise on homework problems. Being able to face my class while teaching on the document camera versus having my back to them while writing on the board would be absolutely phenomenal. Behavior issues would decrease as I would have an eye on my class at all times. We perform many activities, including clue games and reading many math picture books, a document camera would be so helpful with these activities. Coordinate graphing is a standard we practice at all of my grade levels. Being able to display the image that I am using on graph paper through the document camera would be a fabulous change over trying to draw straight lines and coordinate graphs on the board. When we study shapes, the document camera would greatly enhance student visual learning. I would greatly appreciate your support in making this a reality in my classroom.
