This is my second year teaching kindergarten and I am constantly looking for new and exciting strategies and resources that will help to keep my students actively engaged and participating. I believe kindergarten should be focused around play and hands-on experiences. Literacy is also extremely important to me-the earlier children can learn foundational reading skills the more success they will have across all subject areas. It is my goal to ensure children are learning these reading skills while having fun doing so.
