I want to transform my classroom to be a place that is 100% student focused with flexible seating where ALL students can thrive. To begin my transformation, I want to remove my teacher desk from my classroom and replace it with a teacher table. The table will serve as a place where I can do small group instruction, reteaching, or group work. I want to utilize all my space in my room to better serve my students and help them feel successful and confident. I truly believe replacing my desk with a table that serves the entire class will create a better atmosphere for the students. I will use the requested kidney activity table and Marius stackable stools as my teacher table and seating for my students. My students will come to the table to receive content intervention, small group instruction, or one-on-one assistance. This table and stools will give my students and me an opportunity to successfully collaborate to help further their knowledge.
